CANZUK is a return to the Empire Preference scheme. I would like to start with that but slowly add extra countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa and India.
It will not occur as Australia is absolutely opposed to the plan.
As a Canadian currently living in the UK, who hopes to one day maybe work in Australia or New Zealand, this would make my life much easier.
However, wait until the pandemic is over. I doubt New Zealand wants anyone right now. They’ve done such a good job controlling covid.
