I have visited NZ 4 times from Argentina. What comes to mind is mountains, friendly people and rugby.
I think NZ is a great place, it is in a better place at heart. While Australia is unsure of where it belongs, NZ, I feel thinks it’s more of a pacific nation. It respects it’s native population and generally feels like a happier place.
There are 2 negatives: Earthquakes, cold and lower salaries. NZ are prepared for all of them. Things are cheaper, generally!
Note: I visited South Island all times.
