I know it sounds stupid,because it’s from a videogame, but every time i hear osts from Nier:Automata like “weight of the world”, “fortress of lies” or even “treasured times” i istantly gets sad and emotional, this mainly because i am deeply in love with that game, had me crying a lot, there is always this atmosphere of suffering and sadness, you get to a point where you don’t even now what you are fighting for (the game is supposed to do that, i mean it in a good way).
