Bald with a beard here. I just use beard shampoo on my face and like once a week use regular shampoo on my bald scalp (ive noticed it still keeps my scalp looking healthy even though theres no hair). No science to back any of this up but it works for me…

Not bald myself, but for my dad, the back of his head. He was mostly bald before I was even born and until I was in my teens, he had that little horseshoe thing going on. Then he started shaving that off and started using body wash for everything.
