Does anybody else think back to when they first moved into their house or discovered a new area or town and they had a completely different perception and version of the place compared to now?

Yes! Sometimes I will be walking somewhere familiar, and then think back to the first few times I was there and how I felt looking at it. A big one for me was uni – after I had been there for a few years and became very familiar with it, I would think back to how it “looked” to me when I visited on Open Day.

No, but I have lived my entire life in the same city. So not much changes day to day.
