Ed ecco le risposte:

Wife had to get one of the free tests, and got a bill,
Covid test- $0.00
Md consultation- $200.00
Oh best part she only saw a tech who done the swab never saw the doctor

My insurance covered it all. Pretty early on they said they would cover all Covid-19 cost. I didn’t end up in the ICU so I can’t answer that but it should be covered if it did. Unfortunately I lost that insurance recently due changing jobs/losing it because of the pandemic.

Most insurers (UnitedHealthCare, BlueCross, ect..) are covering COVID costs 100%

Even basic medical insurance would provide full coverage of covid-based hospitalizations. I was recently hospitalized for non covid-related reasons for 27 days and had 2 surgeries and covid tests. Nothing out of pocket and I have very basic insurance.

I’d love to see the bill breakdowns of what the insurance companies are paying. I crack up when I get one for something and it’s like bandaid-$100. Member discount- $95. Insurance paid-$5. And that’s barely an exaggeration, sadly.
