What is the most creepy/unnerving experience that’s ever happened to you? (Serious)

I was working at a burger joint, and a coworker’s husband came in and they were joking around and stuff, and this coworker had previously mentioned how he kept on kissing a then-minor coworker of mine who was already emancipated. Well, I’m cleaning the floor and I feel fingers rubbing my back. It was the dude. Creeped me the hell out.

Sometime later, I hear that he had been molesting one of my coworker’s children. And the coworker’s lack of judgment aside, she’s quite the mama-bear. My dad mentioned that he hoped for the sake of the dude that the police found him before she did. Needless to say, she broke up with him at the first opportunity. Do NOT mess with the child of a high-strung redhead mama-bear.

When I was about 8 or 10 I was riding my bike with a few friends, we had a bunch of woods and a trail that led to a pond that was well traveled near my house that we were constantly in. Riding one day I still dont know what happened but it felt almost like an out of body experience where nothing I did mattered, I kept on like a robot for maybe 1 minute all the way through the woods until I suddenly could move again, told my friends who believed me and we turned around. I couldn’t speak, move, I just kept on moving and riding even tho I wanted to stop, scary as hell and incredibly creepy, it’s been over 20 years since that happened and it’s never once happened again.

The house that we lived in was haunted. The entity/entities never did anything dangerous.

My wife, myself and our two small children lived in the house for about 10 years. All the activity seemed to be centered around the upstairs bedrooms, bathroom and the landing at the top of the stairs. The activity would come and go.

When we first moved in we would hear conversations going on, you couldn’t make out what was being said, but you could hear the voices. This happened quite often.

You would hear footsteps going up and down the wooden stairs in the middle of the night. When downstairs, you would hear footsteps from upstairs when there wasn’t anybody up there.

When giving the kids a bath, you would get the distinct feeling of someone watching you. You would turn around and there wouldn’t be anyone there.

One morning, I was getting dressed in our bedroom and my wife was getting ready in the bathroom just down the hall. We both came out at the same time and asked each other “did you say something?” neither one of use did, but we both heard something.

On another morning, I had just taken a shower and was drying off when I heard someone sigh directly behind me. My back was about 6 inches from a wall.

Probably the most unnerving thing was this: we had purchased a new house and were waiting for closing to take place on this house. During this period, I would stop in and check on the house occasionally. During my last visit, I had made my checks in the basement and the first floor when I started to walk up the stairs. There was a window on the landing at the top of the stairs. I had just started up the stairs, when a large dark mass went from left to right from the hallway, blocked out the light coming through the window and went into my old bedroom. It took me a few seconds to process what had just happened, but the hair on the back of my neck stood straight up and I ran up the stairs to chase whatever it was. When I went into the bedroom, there was nothing there. That was the LAST time I went into that house.

Now that my kids are in their teens, they say they remember weird things going on when they were younger, though they never said anything at the time.

This is very much true it happened when i was 11-12yrs old. I was staying at my father’s best-friends house. My whole family two brothers and one sister. We went there frequently because my dad and him recently started reconnecting i liked the house though it was ominous. They had a dog and 3 daughters all older than i am. One night all if us were in the living room while my parents and his best-friend and his wife were in the garage drinking . The daughters before has disclosed that the house made knocking noises and something kept throwing their Christmas ornaments on the ground. After that it was even more scary because out of now where knocking on all sides of the living room we were in. It started slow from a room behind us then in the kitchen and then wall where the tv was facing us. Then every single wall it was so loud I thought i was going insane i just slowly went to the ground holding the floor. The knocking increased and got louder then the dog started going crazy barking at the Christmas tree and barking in one corner of the room. My older brother ran to the garage to tell my parents my father had a bat and my dads best-friend had chair they heard it too but thought we were playing a game. They soon after left back to drinking and assumed all 7 of us were insane. we were all on edge the rest of the night then the fucking backyard gate threw open and the dog didn’t make a move. Thats the part that freaks me out. She barked at everything why not that? I think that house was haunted and it clearly didn’t like us talking about what was happening to those 3 daughters.

The first and only time I had sleep paralysis. I was 11. I woke up facing the wall. I could see light coming from the window so I knew it was morning. I tried to get up but I couldn’t move. I started panicking and tried to move anything. I felt like something was approaching me but I couldn’t see because I was facing the wall. I could only get the sense of darkness spreading from the door towards me and I was just filled with dread. I even feel like I heard suspenseful music. The music I heard was kind of like an eery violin playing low notes and as the darkness got closer the music got more frantic and I got more frantic. I felt that if I didn’t move, I was gonna die. I tried lifting my hand and the dark feeling was getting closer. I managed to lift it and immediately turned around to see what was coming. There was nothing. Suddenly the darkness, the dread, and the music was gone. Years after that I never knew if it was a dream or if something supernatural happened. Later, I found out about sleep paralysis and connected the dots. It was a very scary experience that I hope I never have to experience again.
