My favourite is Persephone. She has a garden in the underworld that grows pomegranates. She brings life where nothing grows. I remember her for her resilience after having endured the trauma of being abducted by Hades.

I really like the River Styx as the boundary between our realm and the Underworld where Achilles was dipped by his mother to be near invulnerable, save for his heel.
As for gods (although Styx is technically also a goddess’ name), my favourite might be Hades for the same reasons I like Hel from Norse mythology and Osiris from Egyptian mythology. I guess I just like rulers from the Underworld.
Orpheus and Eurydice is my favourite myth.
Favourite deities are Hermes, Thanatos, Demeter and Hecate. And a lot of others but that’s off the top of my head.
