I know the warcraft movie underperformed but I still think a more character driven story, maybe focused on Arthas, could be awesome!
Starship troopers is kinda close to starcraft and that movie is frickin awesome! There’s gotta be some appetite for a proper starcraft movie.
The Mass Effect trilogy is a solid story.
I feel like sci-fi and fantasy really deserve more serious films. Directors seem to get too caught up in showing off their expensive special effects instead of devoting more screen time and effort into story, character, and dialogue.
