Do something for you. “Me” time is very important and can improve your overall mental and emotional health. Every day I do something fun for me, such as read, work out, or play a video game for as short as 30 mins, and I feel good knowing I took care of myself.

Shrinks sometimes say wearing more vibrant and colorful clothes can truly improve your mood, one of the reasons i like to wear Hawaiian shirts in the summer time.
This is really stupid. However, it works every time. If you spell the word “HEADACHE” out loud quickly and in a kind of sing song voice. It kind of rhymes and sounds silly. The “e” at the end usually makes your voice lilt upwards. It makes me giggle.
