How much greener Texas was than I imagined.
Not me, but my sister. She and her husband went to Florida a few years back and she was shocked at the stark difference between some neighbourhoods. She said once they went through non-tourist areas, the poverty was painfully obvious. It was like night and day.
We live in England btw.
That the neighbourhoods really looked like in all my favourite childhood movies. I felt like a child again driving a bicycle trough Lakewood, OH. So cool.
