You actually have considerable leverage here. Ryan is definitely violating the terms of his lease by letting other people live there. He isn’t your landlord so he can’t evict you, and the landlord doesn’t know that you’re there either. By pressuring you to leave, he may get himself kicked out as well. Find the landlords number and threaten to speak with him directly.
