I’d find a new place to live this just sounds like a giant headache
I know finding a new place to live can be scary/difficult. Especially if you are currently with people who are familiar to you. BUT, you need to move out ASA reasonably possible. People like this, who want to control your decision-making process, are dangerous in countless ways. To preface: I’m a generally conservative person who doesn’t think highly of promiscuity, but I would NEVER impose my values on someone else. You are not a prisoner and he is not the warden. Find a new place to live. This will only continue to get worse.
Nothing will be solved unless you move out. That’s just it.
NTA, but for your own health and safety, get the fuck out. And don’t live with men interested in you. I hate to say it, but every dude I’ve ever lived with has pulled this shit with me. I even caught one of my old roommates stealing my dirty underwear. Men can be fucking creepy and awful. Also, if you get into a rental, unless there’s a legal lease agreement, walk away. He’s probably not even supposed to be subletting to you. Most apartments prohibit that kind of thing.
This has an easy solution. Move out before he kicks you out.
